Morning everyone, sorry I haven't posted lately , I can't believe we are in to December already.

I've been so busy lately what with poorly children and weekend craft fairs that I don't know if I am coming or going !!!

Anyway this Saturday is my last craft fair for this year.

Here are some pictures of recent makes , unfortunately there are a couple of orders that I forgot to photograph before they went.

I have one picture left to photograph after I have made it, I have done this picture several times and forgot to take a picture , and have taken it to the craft fairs and it is one of the first ones to sell , so I am determined to take a picture this time, and I will add to my next blog post.

Just sharing a few makes with you today, I've not managed to blog lately , had different appointments with the kids , making clock orders ................... plus I was out of action for a few days due to having gout in my index finger , of course it had to be my right hand !!!!!!!!!!

My poorly hand.

My beautiful girl enjoying the sun.

My DT make for last month's challenge at the Crafting Musketeers.

A picture made to match a clock.

This is a clock that was ordered for a lady who loves baking.

A clock order.

Thank you for visiting today , I promise I will be catching up with everyone's blogs very soon , I think I need to make myself a timetable to manage my time better !!!

Clock Tutorial

Hi everyone , well all back to normal (well as normal as can be !!! ) , both kids went back to school last week , although neither of them are enjoying it fully.

So now back to the jobs and crafting , I've just finished a commissioned clock , but I can't show you that one just yet.

So I decided today to set myself a bit of a challenge using the items below and some stamping techniques.

Unfortunately it didn't go quite to plan as the inks didn't show up as well on the painted surface as I had hoped. I tried using Stampin' Up ink whereas I usually use either Tim Holtz or Stazon , but I liked the colours of the Stampin' Up ones.

But all was not lost , I just sanded back the MDF base and started again using card to stamp on which I could then glue to the base as I normally do.

As you can see it was very faint on the painted surface.

I stamped the butterflies in Crumb Cake , and then stamped on to scrap paper , which I then cut out to form a mask.

All masked, ready for stamping the frame.

After stamping the frame in Blushing Bride , I then created a mask for that ready to stamp inside the frame.

Coming along nicely.

I then masked the butterflies again and using Blushing Bride for the main part of the flowers, and then Crumb Cake for the centers I stamped the flowers. As you can see from the picture , I had drawn round the outside of the clock base, also marking the center hole .

All done ready for cutting out. Although this would make a good picture too , mmmm next project I think !!

All cut out ready to glue onto the base.

I decided to go with Roman Numerals for the numbers , so I die cut them out ready.

Once the glue was all dry , I popped a stencil on the clock ready for placing the numbers.

Ready for sticking down.

Numbers all stuck , ready now for a coat of spray varnish to protect the clock. The spray varnish is good as it dries quite quickly.

One clock all finished.
I have really enjoyed making this clock today , it's good to try different techniques.

Thank you for visiting today,

Woodland Friends

Hi all , well as I am back with my wall hanging , a little short on pictures now unfortunately as I sent them from my phone to the pc , but forgot to check they all got safely there and deleted pics off my phone before checking !!!!!

But never mind I have one or two , so here goes .......

Firstly I covered the mdf with card.

Woodland friends all cut out ready to assemble.

Working out where I wanted to put everything.

The finished wall hanging , just ribbon to add . The balloons have a glossy accents on them to make them shiny .
I have some woodland creatures left , so I am in the process of creating a matching clock and maybe a name sign.

Thanks for looking

Time for a catchup !!!!!!

Hi all , well I seem to have got behind in my blogging again , July has been a busy old month one way or another !!
And now it's the school holidays so time to relax slightly for a while.

Since I last blogged , I have been busy with bits and pieces , and also a 2 day food and craft fair at Glansevern Hall in support of the upcoming national Eisteddfod that is being held in Meifod.

I made some welsh clocks and signs especially for the occasion .

Here is my stall all set up.
In between all that , one of my clocks is winging it's way as we speak to America after a lady saw it on Etsy . She's going to be putting it up in her classroom .
I've also just finished an order for a clock bought via my website , and I have also started a new project which I shall reveal soon , but till now here are a couple of sneak peeks for you .

Back soon

Toppers Galore

Hi all , hope everyone is doing ok , been having a topper making session lately , using some dies that I have had for a while, and as I was making the toppers , a couple of them came in very useful when I was asked to make some cards for twins !!!!

This was one of the cards I made for twins , the other had 2 bunnies on.

I had fun making these and they will come in very useful as I have a few things to make ready for a 2 day Food and Craft fair next month.
